Vitis Ivory Plum Floral Vintage Rug

Vitis brings ivory & plum · vine trellis to your home, in the Germanica Vintage collection. Made in Türkiye and stocked at our London warehouse in three practical sizes.

The design story

The vine scroll — vitis — is one of the oldest ornaments of the Mediterranean floor: a branching stem of leaves and grapes curling across a pale ground. Vitis draws a lattice of lavender and plum stems across ivory, with palmettes and flower heads at every junction in teal, rose and violet. A deep plum border with a narrow ivory guard frames it like a mosaic panel. Romantic and layered, and surprisingly easy to live with.
