The design story

Aquadriga is the four-horse chariot of Roman victory scenes. Quadriga has its own four: hooked diamond medallions in ivory and blush, stacked down a terracotta field against cornflowerblue corners. The composition comes from the tribal weaving of south-west Iran and southern Anatolia, where repeated medallions carried the story of a family and its journeys. Warm, graphic and full of small detail.
