Pavo Peacock Blue Floral Vintage Rug

Pavo brings peacock blue · all-over floral to your home, in the Germanica Vintage collection. Made in Türkiye and stocked at our London warehouse in three practical sizes.

The design story

In late-antique floors the peacock is the bird of paradise and renewal, its tail a fan of blue-green eyes. Pavo — Latin for peacock — borrows that blue. Rows of blossoms in fuchsia, saffron, coral and ivory float on a deep teal and indigo ground, each flower a small rosette like a cluster of coloured stones. There is no centre and no single focus: like a carpet of flowers set in mosaic, it simply runs on, edge to edge, worn back so the colour glows rather than shouts.

Styling your room

Let the blue floral rug lead a white or grey room, then repeat one saffron or fuchsia accent.
