Helios Saffron Ivory Medallion Vintage Rug

Helios brings saffron & ivory · diamond medallion to your home, in the Germanica Vintage collection. Made in Türkiye and stocked at our London warehouse in three practical sizes.

The design story

Helios, the sun, sits at the centre of many ancient floors with his rays spreading outward. Here the sun is a diamond: an ivory medallion set in a field of saffron and ochre, edged in rust, navy and soft blue. It is the colour of late afternoon in Kahramanmaraş, when the light comes in low and gold. A wornback finish keeps it relaxed, so a strong colour sits easily in a calm room.

Styling your room

Combine with cognac leather, rattan and leafy plants to bring warmth to a cool room.
