Fresco Cream Grey Abstract Vavien Rug

Fresco brings cream & grey · brushed linear abstract to your home, in the Germanica Vavien collection. Made in Türkiye and stocked at our London warehouse in three practical sizes.

The design story

Before a mosaic is laid, the wall beside it is plastered. Fresco is that wall: a cream ground drawn over with fine grey hatching, layered in blocks and bands that drift in and out of focus like a surface brushed by many hands. Close up it reads as texture; from across the room, as soft architecture. It is a design for rooms that want calm without blankness — warm enough for a bedroom, structured enough for a study.

Styling your room

Use with limewashed walls and greige upholstery; add ochre, olive or rust through cushions.
