Commagene Ice Blue Brick Medallion Washable Rug

Commagene brings ice blue & brick · tribal medallion to your home, in the Germanica Washable collection. Made in Türkiye and stocked at our London warehouse in three practical sizes.

The design story

Germanicia lay on the edge of Commagene, the kingdom of the great stone heads of Mount Nemrut, where Greek and Persian art met. Commagene brings the two together: a brick-red geometric medallion in the manner of Anatolian village weaving, set on a cool ice-blue field and framed by a navy border of rosettes worthy of a Persian city carpet. Cool and warm, in balance.

Styling your room

Combine blue-grey walls with warm wood to balance the cool blue field and brick-red medallion.
